Production & Office Assistant

£19,890 - £22,000

(based on experience)

Arthur and Martha is a ‘creatively driven’ production department based in the heart of Soho.

They care passionately about what they do; they produce advertising commercials, content and integrated campaigns either through an agency or direct with a client.

So, what’s the job?

They are looking for a Production & Office Assistant.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in all aspects of production!

You will be assisting in a busy production office, you will have general office duties (outlined below) and you will provide support to producers both on agency and production company projects.

Training will be given where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • General office duties; organising meetings and diaries, keeping the office tidy and ensuring office supplies are stocked (paper for printer, coffee & tea etc).

  • Organise edit suite bookings - you will be required to prepare the suite before clients arrive, offer teas and coffees to clients etc.

  • In charge of updating the Arthur and Martha's website with current work and suggesting new ideas to keep it fresh!

  • Update Arthur and Martha's Facebook / Instagram pages regularly.

  • Share with the team any new interesting work you find (whether that be an advert or a music video!).

  • Help with the organisation of meetings where production company representatives show them new work.

  • You will also liaise with producers to ensure that all their productions have the paperwork up to date and the files on the server are complete.

  • You may be required to attend film and photography shoots when assisting a producer, and to help them whilst on the shoot (e.g. organise travel etc.).

What skills / attributes Arthur and Martha is looking for

  • The right attitude is the most important thing – they’re looking for a ‘can-do’ type of personality

  • Being tech literate would be great, but it’s not imperative.

  • You must be extremely organised, and the thought of admin/paperwork won’t phase you.

  • This isn’t a typical 9-5 job, production can be unpredictable, so flexibility with working hours is important.

Salary: £19,890 - £22,000 a year (based on experience)
