So, what’s the job?

Blink is an award-winning British production company and creative studio, producing commercials, music videos, animations, art and fashion films. 

They are looking for a new Personal Assistant & Social Media Coordinator to work closely with the Executive Producer and Managing Partners, with a focus on creative pitches and social communications.

This is a dynamic role in a fast-moving and creative environment, requiring excellent communication skills, great organisation, confident copy-writing and an eye for design.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support for the Executive Producers and Managing Partners: Diary management, booking meetings, lunches, travel and accommodation, processing expenses and providing general assistance.

  • Coordinating and submitting awards entries.

  • Data management of all incoming projects and opportunities.

  • Assisting in the curating of content for the Blink website; selecting images and gifs from New York, keeping everything in order and engaging.

  • Managing and creating content for the Blink social media channels (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook).

  • Assisting with treatments in the pitch process; coordinating the pitch team and booking freelance writers and researchers.

  • Coordinating PR and communications to trade press and creative publications.

 

Capabilities:

  • Excellent communication.

  • Excellent people skills. 

  • Lots of initiative. 

  • A confident writer; comfortable generating short form copy on demand.

  • Excellent attention to detail with an eye for layout and design.

  • First class organisational & time management skills. 

  • Confident at delegating tasks and working within a team.

  • Copes well with responsibility and comfortable working in a fast moving, creative environment.

  • A keen interest in film, music, creativity and the arts.

 

Experience:

Some experience in the creative industries as a receptionist, assistant, etc is a plus,

though not required. 


Salary: £22k a year
