The British Arrows is the biggest advertising awards ceremony for moving image commercials – imagine the OSCARS but for very short films that sell stuff beautifully.
The event takes place in March and we've been running for 43 years!

BAD (British Arrows Doorway) is an initiative set up by the British Arrows to address the diversity
in-balance within the creative workforce. Because of our unique position, we are wonderfully connected to be able to help both sides. We help young people of colour and young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, to guide them into secure paid jobs across agency, production, post and audio.
We also help the industry, who are looking to hire this much needed demographic, find exactly who they need (people like you!).
So, what's the job?
British Arrows and BAD need a super switched on Social Media guru & Office Assistant
to join their team.
You will be working for both The British Arrows and BAD in a very cool office in Hackney.
Create social media assets on Photoshop/InDesign.
Post content across social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter and Facebook).
Track social media analytics across all channels.
Keep up with trends and competitors.
Prep and send out live tweets on the night of the show!
Assist with customer service queries.
Assist with the co-ordination of events.
Assist with administration.
Update the office database (Pipedrive).
Assist the Office Manager to ensure smooth running of the office.
Collect entries for the BAD award.
Handle/ keep track of hard drives with content for the awards show.
Select freeze-frames from commercials for the event brochure, the website and the show.
Work alongside the Social Media Co-ordinator to maintain the smooth running of BAD.
Prepare and post content across the website and social media.
Prepare social media assets.
Update the website.
Liaise with companies looking to recruit through BAD.
Read and prep application forms.
Send out information and application forms to recruiters.
Assist during recruitment events/presentations/talks.
Key Skills Required:
Experienced in Photoshop, InDesign and Premiere Pro.
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Wix and Dropbox.
Good with pictures.
Skilled across all social media platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Great working attitude and able to follow procedure.
Good with people.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Reliable, trustworthy and showing initiative.
A good sense of humour is a must!
Salary: £19,000 a year
